Love spending time outdoors? Is science your favorite subject in school? If so, then Haywood County Soil and Water Conservation District has an opportunity for you this summer. Our Youth Environmental Stewardship (YES) Camp is a one-week day camp for rising 8th and 9th graders who are passionate about the environment. Each day, campers will participate in hands-on activities that will enrich their understanding of water and air quality, conservation, sustainability, climate, wildlife, soils and more. This year we will also be partnering with Tuscola FFA for a day with FFA. Kids will have the opportunity to hang out and learn about FFA and all of the activities that will be open to them.
