NOTICE OF QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING CELL TOWER REQUEST
TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners of Haywood County will hold a quasi-judicial public hearing on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 5:30 P.M. in the Historic Courtroom of the Haywood County Courthouse at 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville, North Carolina. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an application for a new wireless telecommunication tower, located off Crabtree Road in Waynesville on PIN 8628-40-2317, owned by Loye J. Trantham, Jr. and Lucy S. Trantham.
The tower is a proposed Monopine 142 feet in height.

Persons wishing to be heard at the quasi-judicial public hearing are asked to be present and will be sworn in prior to speaking. The County Commissioners may adopt reasonable rules governing the conduct of the hearing including (i) fixing the maximum time allotted to each speaker, (ii) providing for the designation of spokesmen for groups of persons supporting or opposing the same position, (iii) providing for the selection of delegates from groups of persons supporting or opposing the same positions when the number of persons wishing to attend the hearing exceeds the capacity of the hall, and (iv) providing for the maintenance of order and decorum in the conduct of the hearing.
