TAKE NOTICE that a quorum of the Haywood County Board of Commissioners may be present on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM, on the steps of the historic Haywood County Courthouse, 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville, NC 28786, during a Remembrance Ceremony marking one year since Hurricane Helene impacted our region.
The purpose of this gathering is to reflect on the challenges faced, honor the strength of our community, and recognize the unity that has carried us forward. It is not only about looking back on hardship, but also about celebrating the spirit of hope, kindness, and resilience that continues to define Haywood County.
No official Haywood County business will be conducted at this meeting.
