Raccoon Creek Bike Park -Launching Late 2024

Raccoon Creek Bike Park is located to the northeast of the Town of Waynesville on Farmview Road. The future park will be able to serve as a recreational facility and land conservation area for years to come!

The site for the park is currently open space and is surrounded predominantly by agricultural land, residential properties, and institutional facilities. In 2021, Haywood County gathered public input on what they would like to see at the site and other recreational facilities.

Based on the public's input Haywood County crafted a Bike Park Master Plan. The property will provide a wide variety of spaces to promote outdoor recreation, including:

• A bike pump track,

• A bike skills course,

• A small walking/biking path,

• An adventure playground,

• Picnic pavilions

Haywood County's Recreation and Parks Department is overseeing the launch of the Raccoon Creek Bike Park. The department coordinates and offers a variety of recreational programs and facilities. Visit their website to learn more about the programs available.
