Donating Supplies

Items We ALWAYS Need:

  • Canned dog food
  • Canned puppy food - Purina or Pedigree
  • Canned cat food
  • Canned kitten food - Blue Wilderness
  • Dog treats - Milkbones (all sizes)
  • Cat treats - Temptations
  • New/Gently Used dog and cat toys
  • Towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets, bathmats
  • Leashes
  • Kongs
  • Low-Sodium broth
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned Tuna
  • Catnip

Items We CANNOT Use:

  • Pillows, bedskirts, fitted sheets, rugs, electric blankets
  • Used cat trees
  • Used litter boxes
  • Plastic bowls
  • Used/Damaged toys
  • Opened bags of food

Donations may be made ANYTIME at our 453 Jones Cove Road location in Clyde by leaving items on the bench outside of Intake. If a donation receipt is needed, please drop off donations during regular business hours.

Monetary Donations

Friends of Haywood County Animal Shelter

A Non-Profit Organization that supports the shelter by funding medical needs, operational needs, employee training, and community outreach. All donations made to FoHCAS go directly to serving the shelter in the animals in our care.

  • Donations can be mad in person at our 453 Jones Cove location in Clyde via cash or check (Made out to FoHCAS)
